表妹問我有乜野仲想食，我諗左一陣，終於答：Jamaican patty。

A Jamaican patty or pattie is a pastry that contains various fillings and spices baked inside a flaky shell, often tinted golden yellow with turmeric. Technically, it is a beef filled turnover.

點解？因為呢d可以話係又cheap又common既"junk food"。此地牙買加移民頗多，patty亦都響各便利店佔一席位。

以前屋企附近plaza仔有一Jamaican bakery，梁生駕車同我經過都會兜入去兩父女各整番個patty。香港就真係搵唔到佢蹤影囉。
